This wonderful chess set has a nautical theme. The King is obviously a master mariner of untold experience whilst the mythical mermaid, as our Queen, lures the opposing pieces into her delicate trap. The Bishop is a wise old son of the sea and can conjure up stories of sea spouts and water snakes and terrible storms.

The wondering sea horse is our roaming Knight of the ocean whilst the lighthouse provides a warning of imminent danger at the edge of the sea just as the Castle chess piece is situated at the edge of the board. Our Pawn is represented by that greyhound of the sea, the fast tea clipper which speedily races by the most direct route to its home port.

Board not supplied but will suit the SAC Deluxe matte finish Simulated Lapis Lazuli Blue and Blonde Maple 2" square board.

King height - 5 1/4" -requires 2" board square to suit.
