How does the Origin blue i work Origin blue i utilises GPS (Global Positioning System) satellite technology. This means: *Triangulation calculations are used to establish position of the vehicle on the road network (accuracy of between 5 - 10 metres). *Vehicle position constantly compared with database, integral to device, containing GPS coordinates of all UK fixed speed traps. *When vehicle enters into range of speed trap, driver alerted both visually and audibly.
