A newly renovate, well maintained property with friendly staff. (07/07 EP) A two storey typically Greek looking modern building, Rex has been renovated fully in 2006. This hotel is located towards the top of the main high street which runs through Kalambaka. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within a few minutes walk from the hotel. The main tourist attractions of the area are the Meteora mountains upon which are situated monasteries. These are a 15 minute drive from the hotel. The nearest large town is Trikkala which is a 20 minute drive away by car. The train station is about 500 metres from the hotel. The closest airport is in Thessaloniki, 250 km away.
