Co-developed by Epson, EFI and DuPont, the Epson Color Proofer 5000, combines high quality prints from Epson's new generation of MicroPiezo technology, with EFI's high performance Fiery Color Server. In addition, a high quality commercial proofing media - DuPont / Epson Commercial Proofing Paper - has been co- developed by Epson and DuPont, manufacturers of Cromalin the industry's de-facto analogue standard. The Epson Color Proofer 5000 emulates industry standard color proofing targets such as Euroscale (DuPont Cromalin), SWOP (DuPont WaterProof, 3M Matchprint, Fuji Color-Art), and DIC (Japanese industry standard). The Cromalin Euro Scale target, which has been co-developed between EFI and DuPont within the Fiery workflow, is extended through to the DuPont / Epson Commercial Proofing Paper, and a color profile has been developed with the DuPont CromaNet Color technology.
