The Garcin-caithard family have invested significant sums in the chateau over the last few years, remodelling the winery and other buildings. The 16 hectares of vineyards located on an elevated limestone plateau are close to Troplong Mondot and planted with 90 Merlot and 10 Cabernet Franc. The wine is aged for 18 months in 80-100 new oak. This is a modern style St Emillion with rich black cherry and blackcurrent flavours and notes of chocolate and liqourice.
