The Vayron family is now in its sixth generation of ownership of this small chÃteau, and continue to make this wine in a traditional style, with little use of new oak, which gives the wine a more rustic character. 2006 was a strong vintage for Pomerol, and this wine shows plenty of sweet berry fruit amid robust, lengthy tannins. Drink now or keep for a further 2-3 years.
