Unbranded ChĂteau de Fesles 2010, Bonnezeaux
Bonnezeaux is a tiny village appellation in the Loires ThouarcĂ© district, in which ChĂteau de Fesles is perhaps the most famous producer. This is a dessert wine to rival top Vouvray, made from fully ripened Chenin grapes, including a proportion of botrytised berries. Concentrated and intensely aromatic, combining candied pineapple and caramelised pear flavours with rich toast and spice notes, cut through with Chenins characteristic grapefruit-like acidity. Drink with sweet traditional fruit
