A single 25-hectare vineyard site, ChÃteau des Annereaux is located in the western part of Lalande de Pomerol, where the descendants of the original Annereau family have been living ever since the 14th Century. The wine is a regionally typical Merlot-heavy blend. Deep, bright ruby in colour, with a garnet rim. The nose is freshly fruity, revealing warm notes of subtle spice and undergrowth with exposure to the air, and the palate is round and silky. Perfect with beef stew.
