Like many of Bordeauxs great cru bourgeois properties, ChÃteau Haut-Franquet is a small family-run estate with only 7 hectares of vines, and is located in the heart of the MÃ©doc. The wine is a traditionally styled claret that offers superb value. Ripe and smooth, with good concentration of the black fruit core. Fine-grained tannins provide good grip and length, while complexity comes in the form of intriguing earthy notes. Drinking well now or over the next 2-3 years.
