Unbranded ChĂteau La Petite Eglise 2005, Pomerol
Produced by Pomerol specialist Denis Durantou, La Petite Eglise is made from a parcel of vines adjacent to Chateau LEglise Clinet, one of the superstar estates of the appellation. A 100 Merlot cuvee. Aromas reveal sweet, ripe, stone fruits with hints of Asian spices. The palate impresses with a wealth of lush, pristine, plum, damson and currant flavours flowing from entry to its sweet, ripe finish. The texture is silky smooth yet there are tannins in support to ensure cellar potential. Drink
