This wine is a Saint-Emilion-style blend from neighbouring Puisseguin. Before becoming a vineyard operation around the turn of the 20th century, the owners of this estate were millers, and some remains of the original mill are still visible on the site today. Dense crimson in colour, this is a medium-bodied wine with a plush, rich feel. Good ripeness on nose and palate, with soft spice, dried pine needle and leaf tea aromas. Perfect with roast shoulder of lamb.
