A very successful year for Musar, 1997 saw relatively mild conditions allowing for a longer ripening season and also a longer fermentation, resulting in wines with plenty of ripe fruit character backed by good acidity and fine tannins required for long-term cellaring. An excellent wine with a classic structure. Drinking now but capable of further development over several more years in bottle.
