Part of our Pop-Up Cellar sourced by Lay and Wheeler. Surprisingly deep colour in the glass. The nose is rich and with real citrus and marmalade notes indicating good botrytis intensity. The palate is rich and fresh. Good texture and fine acidity underlying it. The acidity and sweetness are in fine counterpoint. This is one of the best Sauternes of 2008.
