Unbranded Murrina Greco di Tufo 2013
Campania in the south of Italy is home to the Greco grape, although as suggested by the name, it is believed to have originated in Greece. This example comes from vineyards in Campanias Avellino province, and is an unoaked wine that has undergone a little lees ageing. An interesting alternative to Italys more common dry whites, this Greco offers a delicate floral aromas along with hints of sage, acacia and exotic fruit. The palate is fine and persistent. Superb with shellfish.
