First released in 2011, this is an exciting Kiwi take on a classic variety of Austria and central Europe. From a single vineyard in Marlboroughs Omaka Valley, the hand-picked grapes are whole-bunched pressed, partially fermented in old oak and matured on its lees. Restrained on the nose, with delicate citrus blossom and peach notes and an underlying white pepper tinge. Remarkably mouth-filling texture, with ripe and peachy fruit, and a dry finish.
