Saint-Jacques is a small property that is essentially a subdivision of ChÃteau Siran, making its wine from the fruit of 22 acres of vineyards that lie right on the fringe of Sirans Margaux estate. The wine is a traditional claret style, oak-aged for 10-12 months. Medium-bodied and fruity, this is an easy-going everyday claret, with a backbone of bramble and plum fruit, and inviting aromas of vanilla and blackcurrant leaf. Perfect with beef sausages or a cheese selection.
