From a superb small grower in the Touraine region, situated in the middle of the Loire Valley. Whilst not as elegant as a Sancerre or Pouilly-FumÃ©, these wines have lots of fruit and an attractive grassiness. Aromatic, steely Sauvignon just bursting with gooseberry fruit, cut grass and citrus. The perfect accompaniment for seafood, but try with red pepper and tomato based vegetarian dishes or Thai food.
