A classic Burgundy from an estate founded in 1820. Made from vines with an average age of fourty years old, the wine displays subtly spicy, earthy fruit aromas of red berries and fruits of the forest. Sixteen months oak ageing in both old and new oak barrels had added discreet spice to the rich, full palate. Awarded a Bronze medal at the International Wine Challenge 2004.
