Since then, he has continually striven to make better quality wines, introducing hand-sorting of the grapes and maturation in new oak, making Valpolicella wines of unprecedented quality. This superbly-made Italian middleweight is soft and harmonious, with a fine balance of intense sour cherry flavours and polished tannins.
