This blend of 80 Grenache with 20 Syrah is fairly typical of the tried and trusted rosÃ© wines from much of the south of France, albeit with more of the fruit-focused, youthful vibrancy that characterises ViÃ±alba and Mendoza wines in general. Delicate salmon-pink colour belies a remarkably fruity wine, full of summer fruit aromas and gentle floral notes. Light on the palate, with ripe strawberry flavour culminating in a dry finish. At its best alongside a barbecue. Try with grilled fish.
