Grapes for The Red are only grown in the Rondekop vineyard unirrigated vines. Matured in 100 new oak barrels for 24 months before release. Aromas of ripe cassis, spice, red berries, toasted oak, vanillin and hints of savoury leather on the nose, a structured body of tannins and acidity with layers of cassis fruit.
