Fourteen characters have been updated from Bloody Roar 3, while 2 characters are new and hidden in the game. Each fighter has special attack moves and can transform into a hyper-beast during a battle. The beast that a character morphs into, also has its own special attack moves to unleash on opponents. Gamers can change into a wide range of beasts like a lion, leopard, wolf, chameleon, bat, or even a mole! There are also 9 interactive arenas for players to brawl in, with 6 of these arenas being totally new and the other 3 being upgrades from Bloody Roar 3.
