I purchased this book having lost all hope playing American McGee's Alice. This book provides good guidelines for getting on in this game without making it too easy.

It introduces you to each of the characters, giving you their purpose and in the case of the enemies their weakness. It gives an excellent run down of weapons and items. The book goes chapter by chapter through each level pointing out useful hints and warning you about new villians you are about to face
