Dandelion .This is a fresh herb tincture of Dandelion (Taraxacum).Dandelion is used as a diuretic, a digestive bitter, a choleretic (bile production), Cholagogue (bile movement) and a liver tonic .It can aid liver problems, water retention and slimming .Others prefer to use dandelion as a slimming aid.There are no restrictions on long term use.Unlike chemical diuretics, herbal diuretics like Dandelion do not cause a loss of potassium and in fact supplement it whilst re-balancing fluid levels. Dandelion has traditionally been used to help the delivery and production of bile from the gall bladder. Bile is important for the metabolism of fats and so better bile function will have a good effect on weight control. Others find that fluid retention does not help with their weight control. A gentle diuretic like Dandelion is beneficial for slimming and also contains lots of vitamins and anti-oxidants. Directions : Add 15 drops to half a glass of water and drink 3 times a day. Not recommended for children. If you are pregnant or breast feeding, seek medical advice first. If you have gall stones or an obstruction of the bile ducts, seek the advice of a healthcare professional first.
