Alice Red has a clean taste with subtle notes of chocolate, vanilla, cream and coffee and is distilled 5 times in London from traditionally yeast fermented English grain grown in Norfolk & Suffolk. Alice is ideal to drink neat or use it to make some most interesting cocktails. Try a Bloody Alice - take a double measure of alice red (50ml), a splash of worcestershire sauce, 2.5ml (half a teaspoon) of encona original pepper sauce, a squeeze of real lemon, a pinch of celery salt, a pinch of cracked black pepper and 200ml of the thickest tomato juice you can find. Mix over ice and pour into a tall glass with a celery salted rim and garnish with a sprig of watercress. Now theres a cocktail with a kick. Alice Red contains 160mg Caffeine per 100ml - which work out to mean that a 50ml double shot has roughly the same levels of caffeine as found in a can of energy drink.
