The Domaine is in the north of Burgundy, and close to Chablis, with vines on the hills around Tonnerre. This 10-hectare estate was founded by MichÃ¨le and Henri ClÃ©ment in 1991, with son Philippe planting new and better sites from 1995 onwards. The best clay soils, (Kimmeridgian clay/limestone) similar to Chablis, produce zippy, clean, citrus and stone-fruit dry wines. No oak, crisp acidity, appetisingly fresh and clean.
