Its spicy minerals and peachy, quince-streaked fruit readily accommodate deft tones of barrel aging. As tasty as it has been from its days in cask, its a young, firm wine that should develop slowly in the bottle. Its acid-extract structure absorbs strong sugar levels (roughly 135 gl) and allows the wine to seem muscular.
